Shakila Rajasundaram is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who graduated with honors and distinction from the Manual Osteopath College of Canada. She offers a comprehensive range of skills in her practice, with expertise in osteoarticulation, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, and myofascial remodeling.
Her healthcare journey began with a thorough five-year education in physical therapy in India. With over eight years of experience, she has developed an in-depth understanding of human anatomy and has treated a wide range of conditions, including severe disabilities, spinal cord and head injuries, and women’s pelvic health.
Shakila uses a holistic approach, focusing on the interconnectedness of the body’s systems. She applies hands-on manual techniques to restore optimal function, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being. She specializes in treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries, as well as conditions affecting the nervous system, including working with children with autism to improve mobility, comfort, and quality of life. Outside of her osteopathic practice, Shakila enjoys spending time outdoors, especially biking and hiking which are two of her favorite ways to stay active and recharge. She’s also passionate about exploring different cultures through travel and food.
